Reverse Mountain Entry Mechanic
What the chapter establishes
- The Grand Line is entered via a specific geographic point: the Twin Capes at the foot of Reverse Mountain (Ch. 102 page 3, Nami).
- Reverse Mountain is a colossal vertical wall of mountain-and-cloud rising out of the sea (Ch. 102 page 4 wide-shot).
- A lighthouse sits at the foot of the mountain (Ch. 102 page 4) — guidance, not warning.
- At the foot of the mountain, Laboon (a mountain-sized whale) stays at the threshold as a waiting-figure.
What the chapter does NOT yet establish (pending Ch. 103+)
- The actual entry-mechanic — the up-flowing currents that ascend the mountain from each Blue and confluence at the summit.
- Crocus’s role as the lighthouse-keeper.
- The Calm Belt that surrounds the Grand Line as the alternative-entry.
