Structural lore — the physical mechanism by which ships from the four Blues enter the Grand Line via Reverse Mountain.
What we know
- Ch. 101 page 12: powerful currents from all four seas (East, West, North, South Blue) converge at Reverse Mountain because of the Red Line’s barrier-effect (Nami’s labeled cross-diagram).
- Ch. 101 page 13: Reverse Mountain is a winter island; when the four-sea-currents collide with it, the upper waters are forced back under — but at the mountain itself, the currents rush up the sides through the canals, collide at the top, and flow out into the Grand Line on the downward leg of the canal.
- Ch. 101 page 15: visual demonstration — the ocean is seen climbing the mountain’s exterior, defying gravity. The Going Merry rides the upward current into the canal-entry.
