- The claim
- Crocodile will NOT be revealed as Luffy's biological mother; when Luffy's mother is finally named or shown, it will be someone other than Crocodile.
The claim
This is the negative direction on the “Croco-Mom” gauntlet verdict (refuted, 0.438). The central premise — Crocodile once lived as a woman — carries a standing kill-shot, and the maternity payoff has zero on-page purchase at the frontier. The prediction states that a future reveal will confirm the negative rather than rescue the theory.
Reasoning
The gauntlet found that every bridge from the (real) empty maternal slot to Crocodile is unsupported. Crocodile’s only stated Marineford motive is to personally kill Whitebeard (Ch. 540 p.15, Ch. 566 p.5, “not as an ally”); Luffy blurts his Dragon parentage with Crocodile present (Ch. 552 p.2) and Sengoku broadcasts it, with zero reaction from Crocodile; Luffy even punches Crocodile away from Whitebeard (Ch. 557) with no recognition on either side. The one protective beat (Ch. 578 p.13) is filed in-vault as an unexplained mystery inside a rescue relay of non-relatives, and SBS Vol. 90 frames Crocodile in a paternal, not maternal, hypothetical. The theory’s headline SBS Vol. 92 “female Crocodile” artifact does not exist in the corpus, and the fuller SBS Vol. 78 origin sketch is a complete male-Crocodile backstory with no gender change and no child.

Supporting evidence
- Ch. 540 — Crocodile’s motive for the breakout is to kill Whitebeard, not to reach Luffy; the Ivankov “weakness” is named but its content withheld.
- Ch. 552 — Luffy’s Dragon parentage blurted with Crocodile present; no reaction.
- Ch. 557 — Luffy punches Crocodile away from Whitebeard; no recognition.
- Ch. 566 — Crocodile acts “not as an ally,” purely to claim the Whitebeard kill.
- Ch. 578 — Crocodile’s protective turn is flagged in-vault as an unexplained mystery, framed as principle, not kinship.
What would refute this
Be specific — the cleaner the falsifier, the more honest the prediction.
- A chapter, SBS, or Vivre Card naming Crocodile as Luffy’s mother, or showing Crocodile bearing/naming an infant Luffy.
- Crocodile shown on-page as female in his past, or an explicit female-to-male gender change in his backstory delivered via Ivankov’s Horm-Horm power.
- Crocodile expressing explicit parental recognition of Luffy (naming him son, or a Dragon–Crocodile relationship reveal).
- A Baterilla / Baltigo / Revolutionary flashback placing Crocodile with Dragon around Luffy’s birth.
