Why this matters
Tashigi’s combat-knowledge is opposite-grammar to Zoro’s. Zoro learns swords by fighting with them; Tashigi learns swords by reading about them. The pair installs as a book-knowledge-vs-body-knowledge swordsman-grammar dyad. The compositional irony: Tashigi can name every Famous Sword in the world but cannot identify a Famous Swordsman standing in front of her.
Forward-pattern
The book-knowledge-without-field-knowledge tell pre-loads Tashigi’s recurring vulnerability — she will be outmaneuvered by reputation-recognition (later arcs: Tashigi being deceived by disguises, Tashigi being unable to recognize haki-users by feel, etc.).
