A recurring dialogue-doctrine pattern: the swordsman-aspirant arc is built out of stacked doctrines delivered as direct dialogue. Each doctrine names a rule the title-aspirant must satisfy to claim the title. The rules are layered: stage-N’s doctrine constrains stage- N+1’s combat-grammar. By Ch. 100 the aspirant has six on-page doctrines articulated in dialogue — five from his own mouth, one from the title-holder’s. The doctrine-stack is the curriculum-by-the-end- of-East-Blue.

What the pattern predicts
- The Zoro-Mihawk rematch will resolve each doctrine in sequence — Zoro will demonstrate subtlety (Ch. 50 doctrine), demonstrate the three-sword axiom (Ch. 84 doctrine), and demonstrate the cannot-fall-until-rematch clause as fully-paid (Ch. 85 doctrine). The fight will be long enough to retire every doctrine on-page.
- A seventh doctrine — currently un-articulated — will be installed in the post-East-Blue arcs as the missing-rule the aspirant must learn at Kuraigana. Most-likely candidate: Haki (the Mihawk-tutelage payoff). The doctrine-stack will expand at Kuraigana to include the strength-of-will-as-additional-tier axiom.
- The doctrine-stack will transfer with the title — when Zoro becomes the World’s Greatest Swordsman, his doctrines will replace Mihawk’s as the title-holder’s articulated rules. The next-aspirant will inherit the expanded stack.
