Why this matters
This is Oda’s liar-truth inversion engine (see Liar Truth Inversion) executed at the level of a character’s name. The name itself is the foreshadow: “Noland” pre-loads both the false verdict (no land = a lie) and the true one (the man who saw the land no one else could). It runs in exact parallel to Usopp’s “liar who tells the truth” — the two are deliberately mirrored across the Syrup Village and Jaya arcs. Future-Claude should treat a character’s name as a candidate carrier of the lie-becomes-true reveal, not just their dialogue or backstory.
