The seed
The Ch. 70-72 Nami-as-Arlong’s-witch register is now internally questioned by the Arlong Pirates themselves — the chapter installs the Arlong-Pirates-side suspicion of Nami as a parallel arc-thread to the Coco-Village-side suspicion of Nami. The arc-resolution will collapse this onto Coco-Village-side all along.
Why this matters
This is the first time Nami’s loyalty-to-Arlong is questioned from inside Arlong’s organization. The Ch. 70-72 witch-of-Coco-Village register was external-suspicion (villagers, step-sister); the Ch. 73 register is internal-suspicion (crewmates). The two-sided-suspicion structure pre-loads the Coco-Village-side-all-along resolution: when both the village and the crew suspect Nami’s allegiance, only the third party (the Straw Hats) can resolve which side she is actually on. Forward-payoff: the Ch. 79-94 reveal that Nami has always been Coco-Village-side, coerced into Arlong’s crew.
