Why this matters

First on-page Baroque Works Officer-Agent internal-economic-bargaining beat. Three load-bearing sub-patterns:

  1. Officers negotiate over shares — Officer Agents are not strictly hierarchical-obey-orders. The 30/70 split is negotiated, not assigned. The rank-stratification (Mr. 3 > Mr. 5) is operationally backed by share-control: Mr. 3 sets the share, Mr. 5 accepts. The hierarchy is economic, not just chain-of-command.

  2. Promotion-via-bounty-collection mechanism — the 200M combined bounty (Dorry + Brogy 100M each) is the mission-reward. Mr. 3 keeps 70% of the bounty (140M) — enough to be promoted within the organization. Mr. 5 takes 30% (60M) — promotion-tier reward as well. The Ch. 117 Mr. 5 has been killed → then you’ll be promoted deadpan-Goldenweek line (Ch. 117 p.5) and the Ch. 118 we’re sure to be promoted line (Mr. 5 p.17) are now operationally linked: bounty-share-collection is the rank-ascent mechanism within Baroque Works.

  3. Pre-loads forward Officer-Agent internal-conflict:

    • Mr. 2 / Mr. 1 Alabasta-interior rivalry — the Officer-Agent internal-economic-grammar will lead to rivalry and betrayal at the Alabasta interior.
    • Post-Crocodile-defeat Officer-Agent dispersal — each ex-officer pursues their own interests. The economic-grammar installed here pre-loads the every-officer-for-themselves dispersal pattern.
