Mr. 3 was last seen defeated in the Wax-Wax-Mansion set-piece (Ch. 126); the Ch. 158 ship-sighting confirms he survived and reached Alabasta independently — paying off Crocodile’s Ch. 0127 directive (go to Alabasta and await further orders). Pre-loads a forward Mr. 3 re-encounter and the Baroque-Works-officer-roster-still-operational register despite the Little-Garden setbacks.
