Why this matters

First on-page Strawhat-conscripts-defeated-villain-as-temporary-asset beat. Sanji’s improvisation grammar (threat-as-recruitment-leverage; I-don’t-know-who-you-are deniability-cover) is the operational rehearsal for the Mr. Prince persona (~Ch. 173+ forward-canon Mr. Prince at the Rain Dinners arc-finale). The Mr. Prince persona uses the exact same recruit-a-deception-asset doctrine, but at a higher tier (Baroque-Works-side instead of Mr.3-side).

This is also the first installation of the Mr. 3 / Galdino-as-recurring-temporary-Strawhat-asset pattern that pays off massively at Impel Down (Ch. 532+).

Predicted payoff

  • Forward-canon: Sanji’s Mr. Prince persona deploys the same improvisational-alliance register at Rain Dinners arc-finale.
  • Forward-canon: Galdino (Mr. 3) is recruited as a forced-then-willing temporary-ally by Luffy/Buggy at Impel Down (Ch. 532+) — same fruit-asset-as-prison-break-tool register.
