The seed

Luffy categorically refuses to entertain that the Strawhats spiked Dorry’s ale even though the surface-evidence (Dorry attacking them in a frenzy, blaming them for the spike) points at the crew. The reasoning is identity-based, not evidence-based — my people would never.

Two simultaneous categorical exclusions:

1. Excludes the Strawhats as suspects — my people would never pull a dirty trick.
2. Excludes Brogy as suspect — it sure wasn’t the other giant — Luffy categorically refuses to entertain that an ally-coded pirate (Brogy, who Luffy has just met as Dorry’s honor-bound duel partner) would violate the truce mid-meal.

Why this matters

Installs the captain-trusts-the-crew-categorically combat-grammar. Luffy categorically refuses to entertain that his crew or ally-coded figures would commit dishonor — the trust is identity-based, not evidence-based.
