The seed

Two structural firsts in one technique-name:

First Luffy stretch-pullback-and-launch combat-grammar. Until now Luffy’s rubber-body has been used for Pistol-class extending strikes and Gatling-class rapid-fire variants. Armée de l’Air introduces the pull-back-and-slingshot mechanic that requires an external anchor — here Chopper’s grip on Luffy’s feet. The entire forward-canon family of Gomu Gomu no Bazooka / Pistol with another foot-anchor / Rocket uses this same stretch-and-launch grammar.
First French-named Luffy technique. Armée de l’Air is literal Air Force / Air Army in French. The English-name Air Assault is the VIZ Anglicization. This is the first time Oda gives a Luffy attack a non-Japanese, non-English foreign name — the start of the pattern that produces Coup de Vent (Franky), Coup de Burst, French-named Sanji techniques, etc.
First Luffy-Chopper combat-cooperation. The technique is operationally Luffy-with-Chopper-as-anchor. Their tactical bond — Luffy stretches, Chopper holds — is the future-Straw-Hat alliance in action before Chopper has even formally joined.
