The payoff
Predicted: the Marine-officer-introduction grammar is now two-instance pattern. Future Marine officers will follow the same template — epithet-before-name on name-card hero shot. Cf. later: ‘Hawk-Eye’ Mihawk, ‘Demon Child’ Robin (anti-Marine, but Marine-coded by the WG’s epithet), various Vice Admirals and Admirals.
Why this matters
The pattern is the Marine officer’s identity-format in One Piece. With two instances now on the record (Morgan Ch. 4 + Fullbody Ch. 43), the rule is operational. Forward-Claude: any Marine officer entering a chapter with a full-page name-card hero shot should be expected to have an epithet-before-name caption; the epithet will encode their physical marker or signature combat technique.
Companion pattern marker to the prop-as-identity axiom established Ch. 6 (Morgan’s axe-arm vs. Luffy’s straw hat — “I’m Captain Axe-Hand Morgan!!!” / “I’m Straw Hat Luffy!”). The Marine-officer epithet template is the antagonist-side of the prop-as-identity grammar.
