Why this matters
Installs the Elbaf-warrior code that mercy can be the greater dishonor — to spare a willing combatant is to insult his choice to fight. The chapter-title I Knew is the Brogy-voice title that names this doctrine. Pre-loads the entire Elbaf-arc Final-Saga honor-doctrine canonization.
Sister-pattern install for every later honor-by-refusing-to-spare-the-enemy register (Whitebeard at Marineford refusing Sengoku’s quarter, Mihawk during Strawhat duel, the giants of Wano sumo-arena, etc.). The grief Brogy felt in Ch. 0120 is now retroactively clarified — it was grief for the loss of the friend who chose to fight despite injury, not grief for being deceived into killing a wounded man.
