What it predicts
The pattern installs the deal-system-itself-is-the-trap villain-grammar. Genzo’s Ch. 88 page 14 reading (‘He’s gonna keep Nami no matter what she decides!!’) is the chapter’s villager-side correct interpretation.
Forward pattern
The arc-climax reveal that no Arlong deal was ever honorable will fire against all three at once. Every later trap-deal villain in the series (Crocodile, Doflamingo, Big Mom tea-party) follows this grammar.
