A Hidden Shamisen-Playing Noblewoman Shelters Zoro And Vows To Kill Orochi

The seed
At the Enma Shrine an unnamed shamisen-playing woman hides Zoro after his river fall, frets over “Otoko” (Toko ) and “my people,” grieves Yasuie ’s death, and says she cannot forgive Orochi — “I wish that I could kill him myself.” Her refinement, her protection of Toko, and her private vendetta against the Shogun mark her as a noble survivor concealing her identity — a planted-identity seed (negative space) carried by the shamisen prop.
The payoff
The shamisen-playing noblewoman acts on her vow: revealed earlier as Kozuki Hiyori , she dons the Oiran (top courtesan of Wano) guise and plays the shamisen to lure the grief-maddened Orochi into the Treasure Repository. The prop-tell shamisen returns as the instrument of her revenge. (Kept pending — the killing itself is forward.)

Why this matters
