Mythical Zoan · current: Yamato

Profile

A Mythical Zoan modeled on Okuchi-no-Makami, a “rare Mythical Wolf” that Kaido calls the guardian deity / guardian spirit of Wano (named on-page Ch. 1020 p.2). It grants its user a hybrid/full wolf form with ice-element attacks. Carried by Yamato, who ate it accidentally out of hunger (Ch. 1019) — at the cost of the ability to swim. The naming here resolves the long-held blank devil_fruit on Yamato.

⚠ Distinct from Jabra’s Inu Inu no Mi, Model Wolf — do NOT merge.

Power limits & weaknesses

Lore & theories

Named on-page by Kaido Ch. 1020 (p.2) while urging Yamato to “uphold that role and protect Wano” as its guardian deity. Ties a named protective deity into Wano’s deeper mythology. See Okuchi-no-Makami, Yamato.
