The 14th numbered Limited Cover (Page) Series, opening on the chapter title pages during the Marineford / Summit War run. Like the No. 11 Sanji, No. 12 Robin, and No. 13 Franky serials that precede it, this strip arrives fully formed as a narrative serial: the Ch. 550 title page carries both a descriptive title (“Usopp’s ‘I’ll Die If I’m Alone Disease’”) and a “Vol. 1” installment counter (“Bowin Island Is a Forest of Gluttony”), so the recurring-lead / recurring-counter test was met on page 1.
The serial picks up Usopp after the Sabaody dispersal (his Kuma-scatter landing), the same Kuma-scatter run dramatized for each Straw Hat — see Kuma’s Scatter Sends Each Straw Hat To A Place That Forges Them. The opener places him on Bowin Island, captioned a “forest of gluttony.” Record only what each installment shows on-page; do not import where the main story will later place him.
Per-chapter log
Captions recorded verbatim from the printed strip.
- Ch. 550 — Limited Cover Series No. 14: “Usopp’s ‘I’ll Die If I’m Alone Disease,’ Vol. 1: Bowin Island Is a Forest of Gluttony” (opener): establishes the serial’s banner, title, “Vol. 1” counter, and its premise — Usopp marooned by the Kuma-scatter on Bowin Island, described as a forest of gluttony. (p. 1, title-page caption)
- Ch. 551 — Limited Cover Series No. 14: “Usopp’s ‘I’ll Die If I’m Alone Disease,’
FINAL VOLUME: ‘FAT USOPP’” (closer): the title strip carries the “FINAL VOLUME” counter and
the installment subtitle “FAT USOPP” — the serial closes on its second on-page installment.
The “forest of gluttony” premise lands as its punchline: Usopp’s stay on the gluttony forest of
Bowin Island has left him fat. Serial →
concluded. (p. 1, title-page caption)

- Strip closed (@0551): the serial ran two on-page installments — Vol. 1 @0550 (opener) and the
“FINAL VOLUME” @0551 (closer) — so as a cover strip it is now
concluded. This is a Kuma-scatter dramatization in the same mold as the No. 11 Sanji, No. 12 Robin, and No. 13 Franky serials — see Kuma’s Scatter Sends Each Straw Hat To A Place That Forges Them. - Cover→main bridge (still pending):
