- Dispatched (“Vista!! Go help him!!”) to engage Mihawk when the Warlord resumes his pursuit of Luffy (p. 11).
- Introduces himself — “Nice to meet you, Hawkeye Mihawk!” — and is named the Flower Blade, Leader of the Fifth Division of the Whitebeard Pirates; Mihawk: “Only an ignoramus wouldn’t know you.” Crosses swords with Mihawk, letting Luffy break through (pp. 11-12). See Worlds Greatest Swordsman.
