Kotetsu

- Name
- 虎徹 (Kotetsu)
- First seen
- Ch. 912
Profile
A famed master swordsmith of Wano, named on-page in Ch. 912 (pp. 9-11) by Kozuki Sukiyaki — who identifies himself as Kotetsu’s descendant and who possesses Kotetsu-forged blades, including the cursed Excellent-Grade Kitetsu II. Not shown on-page; known only by name and reputation at this point.
Etymology
See frontmatter. Kotetsu 虎徹 (“Tiger Piercer”) references the real Edo master smith Nagasone Kotetsu, and shares the 徹 tetsu “pierce” morpheme with the cursed Kitetsu 鬼徹 blades and the living smith Hitetsu 飛徹 — one Wano swordsmith lineage. See Cursed Swords, Sword Grading System.
