Name meaning
Kukuri (ククリ) — phonetic riff on **Hungarian/Slavic *cukor* (sugar)** or **Turkish *şeker***, both meaning 'sugar' (ultimately from Sanskrit *śarkarā* via the spice trade). Fits a Baroque-Works staging-island where Mr. 3 sips Earl Grey under a parasol — the *sweet, sugared resort* register. May also evoke the *kukri* (curved Nepalese fighting knife) but the sugar reading better fits the tea-and-leisure tableau.

Grand Line · first named: Ch. 117 · Baroque Works internal-perk Officer-Agent staging-island

Profile

Grand Line island where Baroque Works Officer Agents take luxury vacations between assignments. Beach / tropical setting with parasol-shaded loungers in the surf, tea-service amenities (Mr. 3 drinks Earl Grey). First named on-page in Ch. 117 p.3 (caption: CUKOR ISLAND, THE GRAND LINE…).

Functions as an internal-perk staging-island reserved for Officer Agents — an organizational-rank perk distinct from Frontier-Agent placement. The island is presented as off the standard course (Mr. 3 / Goldenweek receive boss-directives here and depart for their assignments from it).

The island is canonized as the delivery-point for boss-orders to Officer Agents — Mr. 3 receives a paper directive from the boss here (Ch. 117 p.4 — PLUNK!! SFX), cross-confirming the Ch. 110 Mystery / compartmentalized-identity doctrine: even brain-tier Mr. 3 receives boss-directives via paper, not in person.
