- JP 酒村 (Sake-mura), literally 'Liquor/Sake Village' (酒 sake = alcohol/liquor; 村 mura = village) — VIZ localizes it as 'Brewers Village' (village of brewers). The birthplace of Queen Estrid's 'prestigious pure-blood' clan is named for brewing/ale, a pillar of Viking ale-hall and mead culture (the skaldic 'mead of poetry'; Aegir, brewer of the gods' feasts) on Elbaf's wholesale Norse overlay. Grimly ironic that the mind-controlled King King Harald razes this drink-village by FIRE @1170 ('burning down the Brewers Village won't bring her back,' p.14).
