Tashigi’s go-easy-on-me-is-an-insult gender-equality doctrine is her central character-grammar across every later Marine-swordsman beat. She demands to be treated as a combat-peer, not as a woman.

The doctrine operates as a mismatch-engine in every later Zoro-Tashigi encounter:

• Zoro spares her because she wears Kuina’s face (his actual reason — never stated on-page).
• Tashigi reads the sparing as gender-condescension (her stated reading).
• The mismatch is structurally permanent — Zoro never explains, Tashigi never learns.
