The seed

Ch. 0218 pp. 14-19 plants the Sky Island premise: a galleon and a skeleton-laden wreck rain from the sky, and the Log Pose locks pointing upward — “captured by a Sky Island.” The chapter title (“Why the Log Pose Is Dome-Shaped”) is itself a prop-tell: the dome housing exists precisely so the needle can register a vertical field. The “Anything man can imagine is a possibility in reality” epigraph (p. 14) is Oda’s authorial flag that the impossible is canon here.
