The villain-pattern vanity-axiom-falsified-in-its-introduction-chapter fires for the second time in the Krieg sub-arc (cf. Krieg’s ‘mightiest of all’ claim, Ch. 48). The pattern: a villain’s identity-axiom is stated then falsified in the same chapter — Oda’s compositional rule that vanity-axioms are never load-bearing for long.
