Why this matters

• Third Doru Doru no Mi deployment-mode canonized: bulk-engulfment (Ch. 0120 — Brogy GLUP) → architectural-trap (Ch. 0122-0124 — Wax-Wax House execution-chamber) → aerosol pre-solidification (Ch. 0125 — Wax-Wax Mist). Extends and names the Ch. 0121 waxy mist area-effect that previously appeared unnamed.
• The fruit operates across phase-states. Solid (Candle Lock, Candle Wall) → architectural (Wax-Wax House) → aerosol (Wax-Wax Mist) → user-tier carapace (Candle Champion). The Doru Doru no Mi’s phase-state-axis is categorically broader than rival Paramecia fruits.
• Pre-loads the Paramecia body-substance-generalizes-across-phase-states design-axis. Forward-canon: every body-as-substance Paramecia eventually deploys a multi-phase-state vocabulary. Mr. 5’s Bomu Bomu no Mi (same chapter) extends from solid (booger) to gaseous (breath — Breeze Breath Bomb). Crocodile’s sand-body extends from granular to wind-form. The phase-state-generalization is the design-axis canonized for body-as-substance Paramecia category.
• The mist is also the substrate that melts under heat. The same chapter that canonizes the Wax-Wax Mist also canonizes the heat-melts-wax weakness — and the mist itself is implied to be melted wax (Usopp p. 11: “That mist is melted wax!! Ah! Why didn’t I see it sooner!?”). The phase-state-vs-temperature relationship is operationally explicit: solid wax + heat → liquid wax → aerosol wax → re-solid wax on cooling. The Mist deployment is temperature-controlled by Mr. 3.
