Mr. 1’s combat-readiness register (slicked-back composure, I can hardly wait) pre-loads the Mr. 1 vs. Zoro duel that closes his arc-thread.
Payoff (Ch. 181)
Mr. 1’s Ch. 172 “I can hardly wait. The finale will be ‘Alubarna,’ right?” doctrine cashes into Mr. 1’s on-page deployment at Alubarna’s West Gate ambush with Doublefinger (Ch. 181 pp. 4-12). The Officer-Agent ambush strategy is articulated (“Once the battle begins, not even the princess will be able to stop it.”) and the combat-pair activates in pursuit of the west-bound Vivi-decoys (“BLAST THEM!!” / “LET’S GET ‘EM!”). The Alubarna finale prediction is operationally cashed as the chapter’s set-piece composition.
