The seed
Kin’emon : “They call me Foxfire Kin’emon, and my blade burns those it cuts!!” (p. 16) and “My Foxfire style slices with flame… one of its secret arts is the ability to cut through flame as well!!” (p. 19) — demonstrated by cutting the slime’s explosion in two and emerging unharmed (p. 18). His Kitsunebi-ryū (狐火流) is a flame-manipulating swordsmanship that pays off the “Foxfire” epithet printed Ch. 664 and seeds the flame/dragon swordsmanship motifs of the forward Wano arc.
