The seed

Bon Clay’s named-technique arsenal escalates from one (SWAN ARABESQUE, Ch. 0160) to nine new named-techniques in one chapter (Ch. 188): KICK POINTE (p. 6), SWAN CHOP (p. 6), BOOMERANG (p. 7), MASCARA CATCH (p. 8), MEMOIR OF THAT SUMMER DAY (p. 9), BÄSTE (p. 10), PRIMA BALLERINA (p. 12), SWAN BOMBARDIER (p. 13), WINTER WONDERLAND JETE (p. 17), plus DEUX (p. 15 — French-number-as-attack-name matching the Mr. 2 codename).

The ballet-codenamed combat-vocabulary is canonized at full intensity at his arc-defeat chapter.

Why this matters

Three load-bearing structural additions:

  1. PRIMA BALLERINA establishes the swan-flock-as-mount combat-vehicle (the Ch. 0160 swan-henchmen become an integrated weapon-system).
  2. SWAN BOMBARDIER establishes swan-necks as steel-beak projectiles (“my swan slippers have limber necks… and beaks of steel”).
  3. WINTER WONDERLAND JETE is the flying-finisher Sanji counters.

Pre-loads Bon Clay’s forward-canon Impel Down combat-arsenal — the ballet-grammar persists at the structural level.
