Pre-loads the forward-canon Bon-Clay-vs-Sanji set-piece — Sanji wants the fight (Bon Clay p. 18: “OKAY, ZOLO, GET IT OVER WITH!!” / “YOU KEEP QUIET!!” — Zoro is hushed because Sanji has called dibs). The recognition is enabled by Robin’s intel-brief, deepening Robin’s double-dealing ambiguity: she’s giving the BW Officer-Agents intel that’s specific enough for Bon Clay to ID Sanji on sight. The alternate read (Ch. 156 face-library entry from the Merry encounter) is also possible — to be investigated in forward-canon.
