The seed
The payoff
- Immediate (Ch. 57-58 predicted): The All Blue is defined as the ocean where fish from all four Blues coexist; the cook’s paradise reading is delivered.
- Arc-level (Ch. 68 predicted): The All Blue is the dream-MacGuffin that unsticks Sanji from the Baratie. Zeff’s grant-of-permission (Ch. 45 “Follow your heart. Go be a pirate.”) + the All-Blue-dream-revealed (Ch. 56) + Sanji’s tear-stained-departure scene (predicted Ch. 68) = the recruitment pivot.
- Series-level: The All Blue’s existence is open. The Straw Hats’ eventual confirmation of its existence (predicted as late-series payoff during the final arc) is the Sanji-dream-resolved beat.
Why this matters
The All Blue is the fourth Straw-Hat-dream installed in the series:
- Luffy → King of the Pirates / One Piece
- Zoro → World’s Greatest Swordsman / Mihawk
- Nami → world map / freedom (Bell-mère-named-but-not-yet-detailed)
- Sanji → All Blue (named in Ch. 56)
Every recruit needs a dream-named-on-page. Sanji’s dream-name is the latest of the introduction-period recruits (Ch. 56 vs. Ch. 5-6 for Zoro, Ch. 8 for Nami’s surface-version, etc.) — Oda has deferred the All Blue reveal to the chapter that begins the Sanji-recruitment-pivot. The dream-name is load-bearing for the recruitment-pivot.
