What’s shown

Ch. 152 color/title-page splash (p. 2). ONE PIECE logo + an out-of-arc tropical-garden composition. Sanji lounges on a tree branch reading; Luffy sits cross-legged on a picnic blanket eating fruit; Chopper sits beside him reading a book. Background: tropical estate, palms, ruined-temple distant view, flowering vines.

What it might mean

Chopper is depicted as a Straw Hat one chapter before his on-page recruitment — the splash pre-cashes the recruitment-acceptance that the in-story arc lands at chapter end. Forward-arc composition; out-of-Drum setting (Drum is a snow-island; the splash is tropical).

The composition treats Chopper as a fully-installed crew member — book in hand beside Luffy on the picnic blanket — before the formal recruitment lands one chapter later (Ch. 153 Hiriluk’s Cherry Blossoms). The art-treats-the-recruit-as-already-on-the-crew pattern recurs at every later Straw Hat recruitment splash; the Ch. 152 splash is the on-cadence pre-install for Chopper.

Payoff (when confirmed)

Pending — Ch. 153 formal join executes the pre-install.
