Terracotta
Terracotta · Igaram’s wife · Palace Housekeeper of Alabasta · alive
Profile
Igaram’s wife and the head housekeeper of the Alabasta royal palace at Alubarna. Introduced in Ch. 213 (pp. 11-12): a tall, boisterous, curly-haired woman who runs the kitchen staff and stages the Straw Hats’ banquet (“Meals will taste better when eaten with good friends” / “I’ve been doing this for 30 years! No young man’s appetite can intimidate me!”). Cobra confirms her identity: “She’s Igaram’s wife and the palace housekeeper.” Forward-canon: she is the unnamed blonde woman in the star-sweater seen with Igaram (in Igarappoi disguise) and Karoo in the Ch. 0125 cover-art — Ch. 0213 is her first named on-page appearance.

Alabasta — wind-down (Ch. 213)
- First named appearance. Feeds the recovering crew; comedic foil to Luffy’s appetite. Confirmed as Igaram’s wife and the palace housekeeper by King Cobra.
Etymology
Terracotta (テラコッタ) = Italian for “baked/cooked earth” (terra ‘earth’ + cotta ‘cooked’) — fired reddish-brown earthenware. The name lands two Alabasta registers at once: the desert kingdom’s pottery/baked-clay aesthetic, and a culinary pun on her role as the palace’s veteran head cook (cooked earth ≈ the kitchen). She visually doubles her husband Igaram (near-identical curly-haired silhouette; characters joke she’s Igaram in drag), and Igaram plausibly carries the garam-masala spice register — making the couple a cooked-food-coded pair (spice + baked-earth) inside the Middle-Eastern-themed kingdom (the Igaram link is unconfirmed by Oda).
