Asahija is a Marine Chief Petty Officer whose shadow was once stolen by Gecko Moria and used aboard Thriller Bark. Following Moria’s defeat, he was shown overjoyed at the return of his shadow. His full name and rank were revealed in the Blue Deep databook (p.214), and the Marine bounties databook data lists him as being worth at least ฿100,000.
