- Norse coding: named for Yggdrasil, the cosmic world-tree of Norse mythology — the great ash whose branches and roots bind the Nine Worlds. One of those worlds is Jötunheim, the realm of the giants — so a giants’ homeland built around the world-tree is a precise mythological fit, not just decoration.
