Name meaning
Robelu (ロベル) — within the Drum Kingdom's food/sweets/winter-village naming chamber (Cocoaweed = cocoa; Gyasta cf. Italian *gelato*; Bighorn). Possibly a phonetic riff on *roux* (French, butter-and-flour thickener — fitting the Drum-as-confectionary register) or a personal-name register (Robert/Roberto). No SBS or Wiki etymology confirmed. The Drum naming chamber is more food-coded than place-coded; Robelu may not have a load-bearing pun.

Profile

A town on the now-nameless former Drum Kingdom, named in Ch. 154 page 4 as the settlement where the traveler appeared “about a week ago” on a “strange day. It didn’t snow.” The town is shown only in long-shot establishing panels (a snow-dusted streetfront with two-story buildings and pitched roofs); no named residents on-page. Functions as a post-Wapol-Drum settlement — life has returned to the kingdom under Kureha-and-Dalton’s stewardship, and travelers stop here. Likely a coastal or near-coastal town (the visitor’s pursuit-of-Blackbeard register and no-one-knows-how-he-got-there admission imply a non-trivial inland location).

Etymology

Robelu — not yet researched; possibly a constructed nonsense-name in keeping with Drum’s snow-island toponymy (Cocoaweed, Big Horn, Gyasta).
