- Local-arc: Arlong shrugs the hit off (page 11 — “Ack!! They’re not running. The Exploding Star didn’t work!!”) — the munition is bomb-tier, but Arlong is Grand-Line-tier; the moment scales the villain as much as the hero.
- Forward: every later Usopp combat-scene names the munition in the ~Star grammar. The system is here installed.
- Ch. 88 — third Usopp-munition-tier added: Usopp’s Hammer + Usopp’s Rubber Band of Doom (boulder-projectile via stretched-band slingshot mechanism).
