running cover serial), both stand her full-body and centered in vertically-framing forest silhouettes,
both place a single large prop at her right with her arm reaching toward it, and both lean on
negative-space “mood” creatures/architecture. The prop is the load-bearing variable — a gothic
castle (decorative mystery) in 0268 vs. a Poneglyph-stone (the literal answer) in 0394. Watch Robin’s
solo title-splashes as a running visual essay on who she is: the “dark”-shirt gothic register of the
Davy-Back era resolves into the archaeology-of-Ohara register the moment the flashback explains her.
When Oda re-uses a character’s solo title-splash template, the swapped prop is the tell for what the
chapter is about to reveal.
