Mid-chapter (Ch. 64 page 17): Krieg knocks Luffy off-deck with a spear-strike. The anchor-boy threat-frame is operationally executed. Luffy survives via rubber-stretch-grapple back to the deck (composed as elided between page 17 and page 18).

The broader pattern — antagonist deploys over-water kill-box on Luffy — recurs throughout the series. Forward instances:

• Arlong arc — fish-man home-territory advantage.
• Crocodile arc — sand-quicksand-as-anchor reversal.
