Doflamingos Justice Is Whichever Side Wins Worldview
Status: pending · Technique: dialogue-from-villain, chekhov-explicit
The seed
Watching the Summit War, Doflamingo preaches that “kids who’ve never known peace and kids who’ve never known war have completely different ideas of right and wrong,” that “it’s the job of those at the top to decide what’s good and what’s evil,” and that “Justice will prevail?! Of course it will!! …will be whichever side wins!!” It inverts the Marines’ Absolute Justice banner into pure might-makes-right — and reads as a long-game tell for Doflamingo’s own self-deification. Keep pending; record the creed only.

Why this matters
A villain’s explicit worldview-monologue, dropped during a battle that does not yet pay it off, is a classic Oda long-game tell: the philosophy spoken aloud at Marineford re-keys to Doflamingo’s personal origin and god-complex when his backstory finally lands.
