Ch. 74 page 1 cover — Buggy’s Crew: After the Battle, Part 27: “Parade!!” — Buggy at center, looking pained / strained, hands raised; surrounded by smaller Buggy-coded figures in similar pirate-captain regalia (a pumpkin-faced figure, a top-hatted figure, plus others) parading behind him.

What it predicts

The parade-of-lookalikes composition is the cover-arc’s identity-crisis register — the who-is-the-real-Buggy question is staged as a parade spectacle. The Ch. 68 Suspicious Parts sub-arc (Part 23) continues into the Parade register here. Pre-loads the eventual Buggy/Mohji/Cabaji reunion and the Buggy/Alvida team-up that begins around Ch. 51 in the cover-story and pays off forward in Loguetown.

recent-chapter: the pumpkin-faced lookalike may be a gourd-themed pirate (potentially a forward-introduced minor antagonist). The top-hatted lookalike may map to Cabaji-era figures.
