Extends Oda’s per-recruit-cover-story-channel template into the Little Garden arc. The Ch. 35 Usopp Pirate Voyage one-off cover was Usopp’s first solo cover; Ch. 119 closed the Koby-Helmeppo Chronicle of Toil cover-serial; Ch. 123 confirms a new Usopp-side cover-serial is now active.

The aspirational-tall-tale register matches Usopp’s liar-becoming-truth character mechanic — the cover-story shows him having impossible adventures (canoeing with a giraffe in a fisherman’s hat). The cover-serial register canonizes the per-recruit-cover-story-channel template that Oda runs through later sagas:
