Summary
As the Aqua Laguna tidal surge bears down on Water Seven, Nami runs down into the flooding lower city in pursuit of Robin’s departing Sea Train, with Chopper trailing and a panicked crowd warning them they’ll be swallowed by the wave (pp. 2–5). Nami reaches Luffy and, screaming over the roar, tells him the crew was tricked: while they fought, the government took Robin away — and Robin let them, because she is planning to die to protect the Straw Hats from a government attack, declaring she has “nowhere to go and nowhere to return to” (pp. 6–9). Luffy, weeping, swears they will not let Robin die (pp. 10–11). With the wave on top of them, Chopper frees a wedged Zoro and returns his katana; Zoro splits the onrushing water with One Sword Style: Thirty-Six Caliber Phoenix, and Chopper’s Rumble Ball “Jumping Boost” launches the group up and over the destruction, carrying them to the safety of the Great Bridge as the townsfolk cheer (pp. 12–19). The wave continues to obliterate the back alleys behind them.
New reveals
- The Aqua Laguna tidal wave physically arrives and devastates Water Seven’s lower districts — the long-seeded storm becomes the on-page disaster (pp. 12–18).
- Nami delivers Robin’s true motive to Luffy: Robin surrendered to be killed so the government would not attack the crew; her words “I have nowhere to go and nowhere to return to” frame her self-sacrifice (pp. 8–9).
- Luffy’s response sets the crew’s mission going into Enies Lobby: “We’re not gonna let Robin die!” (pp. 10–11).
- Zoro’s signature One Sword Style: Thirty-Six Caliber Phoenix is used to cleave the wave/falling tower (pp. 15–16).
- Chopper’s Rumble Ball technique “Jumping Boost” carries the whole group clear of the surge (p. 17).

Open questions raised
- Where exactly is the Sea Train taking Robin, and can the crew catch it? (Enies Lobby chase setup.)
- What is the “government attack” Robin surrendered to forestall, and what did she trade for the crew’s safety?
- Does the whole crew survive Aqua Laguna and regroup to pursue Robin?
