Profile
A district of the Goa Kingdom on Dawn Island, just inside the Great Gate, “where street punks and gangsters gather” (Ch. 585, p. 5). Pedestrians passing in from Gray Terminal enter the kingdom proper here; the young Ace, Sabo, and Luffy are shaken down for their “cargo” by local toughs. It sits in the tier between the trash heap of Gray Terminal and the kingdom’s clean Central Town and walled High Town. (Central Town and the walled Highland / High Town — the other districts established this chapter — are folded into Goa Kingdom rather than given standalone notes.)
Etymology
“Edge Town” — the rough edge of the otherwise spotless Kingdom of Goa, the buffer district between the clean city and the discarded people of Gray Terminal.
