The villain who kills his own protectors to reach a target outside the plan is the *categorical-other* villain — distinct from Buggy's transactional villainy in the previous arc. **Seed** for the Kuro psychological profile: Kuro is the first East Blue villain whose threat is *cold* (planned cover identity, planned will-forgery, planned succession-fraud) and whose *reflex* under threat is to liquidate even allies.
