The doctrine
The East Blue (and by extension every smaller-arc baseline) is the puddle. The world (Grand Line, New World, beyond) is the ocean. The aspirant’s frame-of-reference is the puddle; the title-holder’s frame-of-reference is the ocean. The doctrine is the saga’s structural thesis: every arc-boundary is a puddle-to-ocean recalibration.
